The 5th National ACAN Futsal Tournament is all set to take place on Bhadra 20 and 21 at Bageshwori Futsal Ground, Nepalgunj, under the theme “Talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships.”

The tournament is being organized by the Association of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ACAN), Banke District Committee. This year, the competition will feature three categories – Men’s, Women’s, and Veterans – with more than 20 teams expected to participate. According to the organizers, over 200 Chartered Accountant players will compete, while nearly 1,000 spectators are anticipated to witness the matches live.

Highlighting the message that “Chartered Accountants are not only skilled with numbers but equally competent on the field,” the organizers said the event aims to promote not just sports, but also professional bonding, collaboration, and friendship.

The Men’s category champions will bag NRs 1,11,111, while the Women’s champions will receive NRs 25,111. The Men’s runners-up will be awarded NRs 51,111, and the third-place team will take home NRs 25,111. Individual awards for Best Player, Best Defender, Best Goalkeeper, and Top Scorer will also be handed out with cash prizes ranging from NRs 5,111 to NRs 11,111 along with medals.

The organizers have also arranged four-star hotel accommodation for participating players and guests. All matches will be broadcast live on GoalNepal.com.

Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Prashant Bista will inaugurate the event as the Chief Guest, while ACAN and ICAN Presidents will attend as Special Guests, the organizers confirmed.
