GNN 2019 trip Blog #8

Prior to Bruce’s departure for home we had a wonderful time of sharing, praising and rejoicing over what God is doing, at the hotel in Kathmandu.
We said good bye to Bruce on Wednesday evening after a marvelous whirlwind time. The three of us flew to Pokhara.  We celebrated with a pastor friend of Philip and enjoyed a beautiful evening.  A picture below shows the Majesty of God as we landed in Jomsom.  After landing we took a taxi around 20 kilometers to Muktinath and attended a church on the edge of a strong Buddhist community.  Pastor Upendra is pictured and  his church in in the background.  Also shown is the  church service.  We had a wonderful time of sharing and supporting each other.  Gifts were exchanged and we present hats and audio Bibles. The next day we went sightseeing and also met a with a believer from the church and heard his story of coming to Christ (at table in pic).  We are humbled by the majestic and incredible beauty of God’s creation. We are also aware of the tremendous need for God’s hope to reach the lost in this area.  Sunday night we went back to Jomsom for the flight back to Pokera.
