Preparations for the NRNA Cup 2025, scheduled to take place on September 6, 2025, have reached their final stage.
The tournament is being organized by NFT Munich with the main support of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Germany, Local Coordination Council (LCC) Bayern, and in joint collaboration with several Munich-based Nepali organizations including Himalayan Family e.V., INAS Germany, Gurung Family Munich, and Nepali Roots e.V.
Since its inception in 2016, the NRNA Cup has brought together Nepali football players from across Germany on a single stage. This year’s eighth edition is set to take place for the very first time in the vibrant city of Munich, making the event even more special and historic.
A record-high 20 teams will participate in this edition – 15 in the men’s category and 5 in the women’s category.
Men’s Groups:

Group A: NFC Bonn, Dresden Nepal FC, NFT Weingarten, NFC Hamburg Veteran

Group B: Nepal Darmstadt FC, Nepalese Stars NRW, NFC Hamburg, NFC Nürnberg

Group C: Eintracht Nepali FC Red, Eintracht Nepali FC Black, NFC Hannover, FC Berlin Nepal

Group D: Khukuri Bremen FC, NFC Stuttgart, Host NFT Munich
From the men’s side, the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals. On the women’s side, the 5 teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top two teams progressing to the final.

The tournament will run from 9 AM to 9 PM on September 6 across four attractive pitches at Sportschule Oberhaching, Munich. Given the large number of teams, organizers have decided to run the matches in shorter formats.
This year, GoalNepal.com will serve as the official media partner. According to the organizers, the tournament aims to not only promote sports but also strengthen unity and community bonding among Nepalis in Germany.
